Pokemon became a worldwide hit around the 90’s when the first few games for the Gameboy came out, and their popularity is wildly increasing up until now, so you should expect a lot of other people trying to jump on that popularity with their own version of the creature catching and battling game. Enter Dynamons 2, a game filled with cute little creatures that you can use to battle other creatures or trainers with the same creatures to become stronger.
Dynamons (you can find the first one here) is an role playing, breeding, adventure game that takes place in a world where there are wild creatures everywhere that you can either capture and train for yourself or battle to gain experience for your own creatures so they can become stronger and be able to battle even stronger creatures. The game is simple and, although not quite unique, has its own little quirks that make it a good game. The game starts you off with a tutorial on how to battle other creatures. You’ll have your partner on your side of the screen and your opponent on the other side. You’ll have an HP bar that will go down as you take hits, and this bar reaching zero will mean your pet has fainted and can no longer battle until healed, which goes the same for your opponent. You’ll have a choice of attacks under your HP bar which you’ll need to click to unleash. You will need to strategize your attacks as some of the stronger attacks will have a cooldown before it can be used again. Once the battle is over, the winner gets experience points and a bit of money. Every time a battle ends, you are taken to a world map where you can prepare your next step. You have access to a shop where you can buy items for battle (like potions), and you can choose who to battle next. When battle a wild Dynamon, you can either defeat it for experience, or capture it to add to your roster of Dynamons. The choice is yours as you find the best way to be the top Dynamon trainer in all the land in Dynamons 2!
