Red Crucible Reloaded

With the rising popularity of first person shooters, it isn’t really a surprise to see developers create first person shooting games. Not only is it an easy way to get your name out there, it’s also a great way to let people know how some developers can get an old formula, add a few things in it, and turn it into such a great game. Red Crucible Reloaded may look a little like Counter Strike or Call of Duty, but the game can be played without having a console or a heavy gaming PC, all you need is a browser and you’re good to go!

Red Crucible reloaded

Red Crucible Reloaded is a first person shooter that might be familiar to a lot of gamers that have played the genre, as it takes inspiration from most of them, and mixes them into one great little package for your browser. The game plays like your regular FPS games on PC. You move using your keyboard, specifically with W making you move forward, S to move backward, and A and D to strafe left and right. Pressing Shift will make you sprint so you can move faster across the battlefield. You press the R key to reload your weapon. You can also press the 1, 2, 3, and 4 keys to change your weapon. For the shooting part of the game, you use the mouse. Your cursor will be your aim, and wherever your cursor is, your crosshair (your aim) will be there too. Clicking the left mouse button will use your currently equipped weapon. Using your right mouse button will make you aim down your weapon’s sight, giving you better accuracy when shooting. The maps in this game are pretty good, as well as the music and video quality of the game being alright. It’s a great game to play if you just miss the days when you played Counter Strike and just want to play instantly. This game is so quick to play that all you need to do is open a browser, log in (if you don’t have an account, it takes less than 5 minutes to make one), then play!

Royal Warfare 2

Strategy RPGs have been out of commission for a while, and not too many games in the genre have been getting the spotlight for people to play. Royal Warfare 2 not only solves this issue, but takes care of it with flying colours easily! Royal Warfare 2 takes what’s good about the first game (the story, the gameplay, the characters, and the setting) and makes it even better! You should be ready for what’s in store for you in this game, as you might get overwhelmed, or overexcited, whichever comes first.

Royal Warfare 2

Royal Warfare 2 is a strategy RPG / Real Time Strategy game that puts you into the shoes of the commanding officer of an army out to save the kingdom. Get your soldiers ready to take on all the invaders out to storm your castle at any time. Join forces with the powerful wizards to quickly kill off swordsmen with overwhelming damage, or take some swordsmen with you to take the frontlines and take damage so that you can setup your game. The choice is up to you and how you want to handle the hordes of enemies wanting to destroy your castle. The game is like your usual RTS browser games where you just use your mouse to do everything, including choosing the units you want to use, giving them commands, using skills, and everything of the like. The game does not leave you in the dark, however, so don’t worry about not knowing a single thing about this game (if you haven’t played the first game). The game will make sure you know how to play before it actually lets you fight out the hordes.
Make sure to get your thinking cap and wear it, as Royal Warfare 2 is a gaming man’s chess in the battlefield, and using less than 100% of your thinking power will ensure your defeat!

You will control your character by clicking and holding on the character, drag the cursor to where you want to move, then let go. You can also drag to an enemy to attack an enemy. Depending on the actions a member can take, you can even put your cursor on your teammates if your member can do healing actions. In the middle of each level, there will be upgrades that you can do by using coins that orcs drop. You can make your heroes stronger so you can fight even stronger opponents that will surely be in the way.
Asgard Story is a great strategy game that deserves a lot of credit for its uniqueness as a flash game and the cuteness of its art. The gameplay itself is also very interesting as it is open for a lot of different strategies that can be employed to finish the game. If you’ve been out looking for a deep but easy to learn strategy game, then Asgard story is for you

Age of War 2

Everything in this world has changed, but there’s one thing that will never change even if everyone in the whole world wanted it to, and that would be war. War has been there since the beginning of time as an imaginary measure of keeping peace, but it doesn’t. War will never change, and Age of War 2 perfectly shows what war is and how it evolves with the times. This doesn’t mean that warfare shouldn’t be fun though, just don’t do it in real life.

Age of War 2

Age of War 2 is first set in the beginning of time, and it will progress as you go along and continue to war with your opponent. Your ultimate goal is to destroy your opponent fully using all of your resources. You will be training units to go into war for you and those units will attack the first unit in front of them that they can reach. There will be different types of units that you can use for different types of situations. You will have an infantry unit that will be good for close combat. You will have a ranged unit that can attack even if it’s not their turn yet (depending on their range, they can attack for more 2 people in front of them). You will also have armored units that would be good for tanking damage as some of your ranged units attack or you can use your tank units to buy time to train even more units. There will also be upgrades that you can use to make your units stronger and harder to kill. One of the upgrades, though, is where this game shines. The upgrade of technology. This upgrade takes you into a new era of warfare where you learn to create new things that you can use to bring into war and take an advantage over your opponent (or catch up with them, if they upgraded before you) . From stone hammers and spears to huge metal maces and guns, the upgrades will give anyone who gets it a huge advantage over their opponents if they get it first.

War will never change and it will keep evolving as we evolve along with it. But, that doesn’t mean that you should hate wars entirely. Wars has been a great inspiration to a lot of the best games out there. Age of War 2 is one of those games and it will be a waste not to play this game.

PS: Happy Pi-Day!

Mighty Knight

Play as a Knight of ye olde times and bust out all your moves to destroy all the monsters along your path to save your castle in Mighty Knight. Take your sword and get some allies on the way. Slaying the undead and other monsters has never been this fun, so make sure to dive in to the world of Mighty Knight.

Mighty Knight puts you into the boots (or grieves) of a knight that journeys to the Doom Castle to save their kingdom from the hordes of undeads, orcs, and zombies. There will be a lot of danger ahead, but luckily, you will meet worthy allies as you go through the forests and mountains. This game is filled with hack-and-slash action that is very hard to put down. The simple controls keeps the game flowing smoothly while the intelligent AI keeps the game interesting, along with the side quests for each stage. The first stage is a tutorial on how to control your knight in battle. Pressing the arrow keys or W, A, S, D will move your knight in accordance to the direction pressed and pressing J or Z will make your knight attack. The K and L keys will use your skills once you get them, and pressing P will pause the game. The battles are fought in a multi-directional plane, and your enemies can come on to you from different sides, so try your best to either kill them quickly or dodge them and kill them all in a few swoops. After the tutorial, you will be sent to the world map where you choose the stage you want to play (usually it would be good to keep progressing before playing the side quests) and having the option to upgrade your knight and allies. The goal of the game is pretty straightforward, kill everything, move on to the next level, then kill everything again.

There’s a lot of hack and slash games out there that are nice, but Mighty Knight really deserves a place in anyone’s hack-and-slash must play lists as this game can really keep you hooked for hours. The simple gameplay yet hard combat AI are good factors on keeping this game interesting and upping it’s playing value. If you’re in the market for a good hack-and-slash combat game, Mighty Knight might just be what you’re looking for.

FireBeast seems to get (almost) everything right, from stunning graphics (see image below) to engaging gameplay. The games also feature a little bit of humor.
