Pokemon became a worldwide hit around the 90’s when the first few games for the Gameboy came out, and their popularity is wildly increasing up until now, so you should expect a lot of other people trying to jump on that popularity with their own version of the creature catching and battling game. Enter Dynamons 2, a game filled with cute little creatures that you can use to battle other creatures or trainers with the same creatures to become stronger.
Dynamons (you can find the first one here) is an role playing, breeding, adventure game that takes place in a world where there are wild creatures everywhere that you can either capture and train for yourself or battle to gain experience for your own creatures so they can become stronger and be able to battle even stronger creatures. The game is simple and, although not quite unique, has its own little quirks that make it a good game. The game starts you off with a tutorial on how to battle other creatures. You’ll have your partner on your side of the screen and your opponent on the other side. You’ll have an HP bar that will go down as you take hits, and this bar reaching zero will mean your pet has fainted and can no longer battle until healed, which goes the same for your opponent. You’ll have a choice of attacks under your HP bar which you’ll need to click to unleash. You will need to strategize your attacks as some of the stronger attacks will have a cooldown before it can be used again. Once the battle is over, the winner gets experience points and a bit of money. Every time a battle ends, you are taken to a world map where you can prepare your next step. You have access to a shop where you can buy items for battle (like potions), and you can choose who to battle next. When battle a wild Dynamon, you can either defeat it for experience, or capture it to add to your roster of Dynamons. The choice is yours as you find the best way to be the top Dynamon trainer in all the land in Dynamons 2!
Despite the overwhelmingly huge amount of action strategy games around the web, it’s a bit hard to find a game that can attract a crowd, since a lot of the games now are bland or ripoffs from other games. Brave Shorties 2 is a great take on the genre and uses cute sprites for the characters, as well.
Brave Shorties 2 is, as mentioned, an action strategy game with a bit of a resource management element. The game is pretty simple as there aren’t too many controls to use aside from your cursor to point to the different options on the screen, including skills when on the battlefield and the buy and sell options in the team setup screen. Despite being a very simple game to look at, it’s a very deep game when it gets to the battlefield. In any case, before you get to the field, you’ll be at the team setup screen where you’ll have to setup your team that will head out to fight. You’ll have only two options during the start of the game, which is the warrior with good attack and defence but can only attack while they are in the front of the field and the archers that has a slightly lower attack and a very low defence but can attack from anywhere on your formation. Your formation screen will show you where you can put warriors, and it’s a bit of a weird set up, but you can put warriors anywhere that you’ve unlocked in one huge square (you can even stack warriors). Once you are done with the formation, you send them out to battle. The melee attacking warriors can only attack people in front of them, so if you stacked them on top of another warrior, anyone below them cannot be attacked by that warrior, so planning beforehand is a huge factor in this game. Will you survive through the skirmish and defend your land, or will you let those nasty monsters take over? Find out in Brave Shorties 2!
Have you ever been trolled so hard that you wanted to punch someone in the face? Well, if you have, then you should be ready for more trolling in Trollface quest. If the title doesn’t tell you enough about the game, then you might be reading it wrong. Enter an epic quest in different worlds (mostly video game worlds) just to troll all the different people in it (including you).
Trollface Quest Video Game is a per-instance puzzle game that lets you play as the trollface guy as he goes through multiple video game universes to troll everyone and everything he encounters. The game plays like a hidden object game, except in this game, you will be looking for anything on the current screen to troll everyone else to finish a level. For example, in the universe of Assassin’s Creed, you will need to anger the Templars by trolling them, and then troll them again by using the classic hide-in-the-haystack trick. Trolled! The controls are very easy to learn since all you will ever need is your mouse. You can move your cursor to any item you want to interact with and use the left mouse button to interact with that item. You can also use a swiping motion by holding the left mouse button on items or parts of the screen and dragging it to whichever direction you need. There will be instances where you’ll need to be a bit familiar with the universe you are in to be able to solve that puzzle, so knowing a lot about other video games will be a clear advantage in this game.
Are you ready to troll and get trolled? Trollface quest is a very fun (as well as funny) game and is worth the time you’ll be investing in it. There’s a few times when it becomes really hard, most especially if you are unfamiliar with the video game universe, but the fun factor is still there. If you want a fun little game you can put down and come back to at any time, this Trollface Quest game is a great game to play.
Hidden object games are pretty fun sometimes, but they do get boring after a while since all you’ll ever need to do is find something in a static picture, and that’s it. Cat in Japan is like a hidden object game, but what makes it a great game is that it’s no ordinary find-this-item type of game, but is also like a room escape game where you use your wits to finish the game. In Cat in Japan, you’d have to find all the sushi in the Japanese house you are in while solving all the puzzles, too!
Cat in Japan is a hidden object game with a room escape feel to it, and it’s one of the best combinations of genres ever. You start off with nothing but the greeting which includes the only instruction you’ll get in the game, which is to find all the 20 sushis in the entire house. All you’ll ever need to use is your mouse in this game, which makes it a very simple to control game. You can use the cursor to point to objects and use the left mouse button to interact with objects that can be either used, changed, lifted, or collected. You will also be using the left mouse button to pick up anything you find useful, including the sushis you’ll need to find. Some of the sushis will be in plain sight, while some will be hidden behind other objects, so you’ll have to shake them, lift them, or remove them to find the hidden prize behind them. There will also be areas where you should solve puzzles to be able to continue, but don’t worry, all of the clues and answers to all the puzzles will be in the house, it’ll just be up to you to find and decipher each and every one of them.
While the difficulty of the game isn’t all that hard, the excitement of solving the puzzles and finding all the sushi is still a great way to keep playing this game. And even though there is no replay value to this game, you should still play it as it is such an enjoyable game and is definitely a good game to play if you like hidden object and puzzle games. Cat in Japan is a must play even if you don’t really like the genre.
Just because a game was designed for kids, it doesn’t mean it’s a game meant to be played by just kids, especially if it’s an Adventure Time game (I mean, the larger part of this show’s audience are adults). Adventure Time: Apple Fetch is a game based on the popular kid’s show and is also based on one of the most popular old school games, Snake. Get ready for more Finn and Jake in this great classic with the Adventure Time twist!
Adventure Time: Apple Fetch is a game based on Snake, the game that was popularized by some of the oldest cellphones we have, is now being given a new look, and it’s in the form of our 2 goofy heroes, Finn the Human and Jake the dog. Finn is out on one of his famous adventures again, and along with Jake, they’ll be collecting all the treasures they can, along with any apples they can eat, too. The game can be controller fairly simply, and this can be done by using only the arrow keys on your keyboard to move to the four directions, which would be up, down, left, and right. You control Jake to move around and try to take all the treasures that you can. In the first few stages, collecting just the treasure is fine, but once apples come into play, getting a perfect in a level can only happen when you collect all of the apples before you collect all of the treasures. Once you collect all of the treasures, the level will end and any apples left over will not be added to your score, so you’d have to start all over. The levels will get harder and harder, as there would be some levels that would need a specific pattern of movement to actually complete everything.
Adventure Time: Apple Fetch is a great little old school game with a very modern twist and is such a great game that I found it hard to really put the game down. Although snake is a great game on its own, adding the “level” thing which lets a game end in just a few seconds is a great addition as this lets you play without getting bored of one game. This is a must play and should not be missed out!
Fast paced, action oriented puzzle games, anyone? Yes, please! Polar Opposites is here to satisfy your puzzle game craving with a bit of blood pumping adrenaline gameplay that isn’t a common feat for games like this. Enter a world of metals and magnets that help you open doors and escape a lot of the traps and enemies in each room you enter.
Polar Opposites is a puzzle game with a bit of fast paced action mixed in. You play as a magnet that is thrown into a dungeon with different rooms. Your goal is to get out by moving through rooms by opening each room’s door to the next room. There’s going to be different ways to open the rooms, and this is where your witty puzzle solving skills come into play. You see, being a magnet, there will be some stuff that you will be attracting and some stuff that you will be using that to your advantage (or disadvantage, whichever comes first). The different rooms will have a few different rules, too, like some rooms will need you to collect all the coins for the door to open, some will require all switches to be flipped, and some will require both. There will also be rooms with enemies in the form of spike balls and traps that you either attract or deflect due to your magnetic personality. These will make it harder to solve the puzzles in each room as you’ll have to both think and move around to stay alive as you try to move to the next room. All you’ll ever need to play, by the way, is just the arrow keys to move around.
This game is all aout fast moves and fast thinking to stay alive and keep progressing. If you’re having a hard time, then practice a bit more. You’ll be starting from the first room, but you’ll be smarter and faster the next time around, right? If you’re looking for a game that mixes quick thinking, then Polar Opposites is a great game to go with.
Slicing a few pieces of pie dough has never been so satisfying nor has it ever been so mind bendingly hard! Ojello is a game that makes you think before you slice with its weird puzzle mechanic as well as a very simple premise. Finding a puzzle game that makes you play easily but needs you to think deeply? You’re on the right game review, then!
Ojello is a puzzle game that gives you a very simple instruction. Cut the dough that has a few beads in it to make sure that each piece of the dough you cut has a bead each. Here’s the catch, though. You will have a limited number of slices you can use to solve the puzzle. There will be times where you’ll be given a few pieces of dough to work with, as opposed to only one, so this adds a bit of difficulty to the game. It will become harder and harder as the levels go on, but you will also have a bit of help via the hints the game will give you if you ask for one, but the hints are limited, so use them sparingly. Once you have finished a few levels, you’ll get a good feel of how the game really works (because many of the levels will give you like trick puzzles).
If you need a puzzle game that you can play for more than a few hours before you can actually reach the end, then Ojello is a good game. The difficulty quickly becomes more evident as you go along the way, and it’s part of the games real charm.
Motorcycle games are always good no matter what the season and they will always be fun to play. Moto X3M 3 is the 3rd game in its series of Dirt bike games, and if that’s not an indication of how well the series is doing, then I don’t know what is! It’s been a good run for this series, but will the latest entry fail to deliver or will it become the catalyst for a 4th game?
Moto X3M 3 is a dirt bike stunt game that lets you control a dirt bike in a huge number of courses while trying to get the best time available through each course. You will have a few different options on getting there, one of them, which is the more boring option in my opinion, is to race through the course without doing anything. This will get you the best time in most cases. You can also play through the course and do stunts along the way, finding the best stunt that you can use for each situation since some areas will not let you do a certain stunt due to your landing. You’ll be able to do backflips, frontflips, and wheelies depending on the situation. You can play the game by using the W or the up arrow to accelerate and S or down arrow to drive in reverse (also your brakes if you are currently going forward). You can push your weight to the back of the bike by pressing A or the left arrow key and move your weight forward by using the D button or the right arrow key. That will be your main way of doing tricks and stunts. Stunts, by the way, can decrease your time by a certain amount, depending on the stunt done, whenever done within a course.
Moto X3M 3 is a fun game especially for the extreme dirt bike lovers, and even for those who aren’t. The adrenaline pumping game is just what you need to get a dose of that adventurous high, so get to playing this game, and you won’t regret it.
Another game from the very famous and crazy set of action games from the io series is coming your way, and this time, we’ve got more action because of the addition of guns and power ups! Gunr.io is one of the newest additions in the io series of games (Wilds, Diep, …) and puts a whole new action twist on the series. They put in the tested proven formula of “you’ve got a great game? Let’s make it better by adding guns!” into the game, and it works so well.
Gunr.io puts you in the same situation as all the other io games, you are dropped in an arena filled with all other players all over the world fighting for dominance in this game. The moment you click on Start after you input your name, you are immediately sent to the arena on a tank with a pistol. Wherever your mouse cursor is, that’s where your tank will face and your tank will always be moving forward. Pressing the left mouse button will use the weapon you are currently equipped with, and you will shoot wherever you are facing instead of where you clicked, so keep that in mind. All around the map, there will be a few different stuff that will help you out in your quest to be the best, including little crystal cubes that will give you experience points, portals that will teleport you to another side of the map for a surprise attack, and speed ups and shields to help you stay alive. Gain enough experience and you will level up, wherein you’ll receive an even stronger weapon. Killing enemies will not only heal your tank but it also increases your maximum HP, so kill as many as you can to become the sturdiest tank of all.
The io series is only becoming better, and this addition gives you an even better option if you like shooting other people for dominance. If you like guns and weapons along with the player kill feature, then Gunr.io would be a great game for you to play.
This is a quick post about a game I recently discovered on CrazyGames. It’s called Flip Diving and the goal is to perform crazy diving stunts. As the warning in the beginning of the game tells you: no one should attempt to recreate or re-enact any dive or activity performed in this game. Have fun!
You can also play on iOS or Android.
